Chelsea Star Player Is Really Furious, Refuses To Show Up For Chelsea’s Pre-season

It appears Chelsea’s star striker Diego Costa has already made up his mind to leave Stamford Bridge this summer despite the recent developments occurring in the transfer market (Chelsea’s losing Lukaku to Man United, and the continuing search for a top striker for next campaign).

According to reports in Spain, the Spaniard has threatened to refuse to show up for pre-season training on Monday if the premier league champions continue blocking his move away  this summer.

At the end of last season, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte told Costa via text that he was no longer in his plans. And while the Italian manager has been on the lookout for a replacement for Costa, the player has been searching for a new club ever since.

He is understood to be eager to make a move back to his former Spanish club Atletico Madrid despite that the Madrid club are still serving a transfer ban. The ban allows them to sign new legs, but they won’t be able to play until January.

And Costa seems to be ready to make the sacrifice of not playing until January as he remains desperate to join Atletico and has moved to force the transfer back to the La Liga.

The Spain international is still on holiday in Brazil despite that he is expected at pre-season training on Monday.

He is said to be so angry with Conte after receiving the text and does not want to see the Italian boss again, and so decided not to return to London and wants his move to Spain completed.
