Former Manchester United player Henrikh Mkhitaryan has made known his favourite game as a footballer.
The Armenia international was very much impressive at Borussia Dortmund, but he struggled vehemently at Manchester United before joining Arsenal on Monday.
But the 29-year-old looks back on his spell at Old Trafford with fond memories, and he made it known that the best game he has ever played is the one against Ajax last term.
The red devils won the Europa League in Stockholm after beating the Dutch club 2-0 – thanks to goals from Paul Pogba and Herinkh.
And speaking recently during an interview on his new side’s official YouTube channel, the Armenian playmaker confessed the game was his best.
Herinkh was replaced at Old Trafford by Chilean international Alexis Sanchez. The former Barcelona man signed a deal that made him the highest paid player in the premier league with the red devils.
There have been a lot of questions from different quarters about how manager Arsene Wenger would utilise Herinkh in his starting XI, but the French boss assured the player will be fine at North London.
Alexis Sanchez on his part is expected to make his debut for his new side on Friday when they clash with Yeovil in the FA Cup.
