Chelsea receive boost as PSG need to offload before they can bring in Thibaut Courtois

Chelsea have been handed a transfer boost with reports that French giant Paris Saint-Germain will possibly have to offload before they can bring in any player this summer transfer window, affecting their plans to buy Chelsea shot-stopper, Thibaut Courtois.

Real Madrid also keen

The Belgian international is also on the wishlist of Real Madrid, but both sides have huge plans for the summer transfer window that could prove to be major stumbling blocks in attempting to get a switch for the safe hand done, as per Independent.

The La Liga giants, for one, are looking for an ambitious switch for Paris Saint Germain star Neymar Jr, but also have to cash in on players before they can buy, and if he were to leave then that would certainly make a new attacker a priority for the French Ligue 1 giants.

Courtois could stay

Either way, it seems a little better for Blues fans as the news seems to be that a transfer for Thibaut Courtois would not be straightforward for either club at the moment.

The 25-year-old former Atletico Madrid safe hand has been an important player for the Blues in recent times, establishing himself as one of the best shot-stopper’s in world football in his time at the West London club.
