Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was not delighted with the way his side conceded their 19th league goal of the season against Tottenham Hotspur.

Klopp and Liverpool were able to win the Premier League clash with Spurs despite the goal scored by Tottenham Hotspur attacker Lucas Moura in the second half.

In his post-match reaction to the 2-1 win over Tottenham at home, Klopp complained about the goal scored by the visitors before praising his players for the late goal scored via a Toby Alderweireld own goal.

The Liverpool manager went on to urge his players to continue to fight in the title race until the end of the season.

Liverpool had taken the lead in the first half courtesy Roberto Firmino off a cross from Scottish national team captain Andy Robertson.

The Reds merited the first half lead against Spurs who were able to turn things around in the second half.

Tottenham got their reward as mentioned above through Lucas Moura who was handed a rare start with Son Heung-Min starting on the bench.

Liverpool huffed and puffed in search of a winner until the final minute when Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris fumbled a routine save into Toby Alderweireld before the ball rolled into the back of the net for the winning goal.

The Reds are back at the Premier League summit as a result of the victory.
