According to reports, Merseyside giants Liverpool have singled out Brazilian Malcom as one of their major summer targets.

Liverpool keen on 21-year-old Brazilian talent

The Daily Mail is claiming that Liverpool are interested in making a move to sign the 21-year-old from French side Bordeaux as manager Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his team ahead of next campaign.

The same article states that Premier League giants Manchester United have also held talks about a transfer for the wide man, while Arsenal and Tottenham have also been strongly linked with the Brazilian.

As per the same article, the Reds have placed the Brazilian on a transfer shortlist which also includes Leon Bailey of Bayern Leverkusen and Christian Pulisic of Dortmund.

Malcom won’t come cheap

The report also suggests that Malcom is worth at about £40million by the French Ligue 1 team ahead of the summer window.

The attacker has been in brilliant form for the Ligue 1 side Bordeaux this campaign netting 10 goals and creating six assists in 33 French Ligue 1 matches for the side.

The Reds are likely to be connected with a number of players in the next couple of weeks as the Liverpool boss looks to build a team capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
