Liverpool Target Finally Made A Decision…

Germany international Leon Goretzka has been linked with a move away from Schalke for some time now after emerging as a target for a handful of top European clubs, including premier league side Liverpool.

However, the latest reports circulating in the media about the midfielder are simply intriguing.

Leon is expected to be out of contract next year, and considering how brilliant he has been at Schalke, many clubs are interested in getting his signature.

According to a recent report by Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, clubs like Barcelona, Liverpool, Juve and Bayern Munich have made some steps to persuade the talented player to their respective sides.

But Mundo Deportivo claimed the player has already made a decision about the club he wants to move to after his contract expired at Schalke, and the club in question is Barcelona.

Goretzka helped his country win the Confederations Cup in Russia back in July, and has caught the attention of lots of people with his performances.

This season so far in the Bundesliga, he has featured in 9 games and has scored 4 goals.

The report also suggests that he might leave to Camp Nou during the winter transfer window, even though his club want him to stay until the end of the season so he can help them qualify for next season’s Champions League.
