Mauricio Pochettino and his men stunned the world on Wednesday night when they beat Champions League winners Real Madrid 3-1 at the Wembley Stadium.
Well, they really need this boost after losing to Manchester United last Saturday at Old Trafford. The defeat increased the gap between them and league leaders Man City in the premier league.
And as far as Tottenham transfers are concerned, we all know Mauricio replaced Kyle Walker by bringing Serge Aurier into London during the summer transfer window.
It is also understood that the North London club are looking to replace another defender -in the person of Danny Rose, since the Englishman is expected to make a switch to Manchester United next summer for something in the region of £45M.
The Daily Star made it known that Spurs boss Pochettino wants to bring in Kieran Tierney from Scottish side Celtic, to replace Rose, and the Argentine manager is ready to bid for him.
The 20-year-old has recently signed a new contract at Celtic that was meant to keep him at the club for the next six years, and he is rated around £35M.
Danny is being disturbed by injuries and has been only able to feature in two games for Tottenham so far this season.
In Rose’s absence, Mauricio has been fielding Davies, and the player is performing well above average. Due to this, it is obvious Spurs won’t mind losing the England international next summer to Manchester United.
