Liverpool chief Billy Hogan has provided a big transfer update that will be music to the ears of the Reds’ faithful.
Billy Hogan is the managing director at Liverpool and he has revealed that manager Jurgen Klopp will have money to spend when the transfer window reopens.
This is coming on the back of recent reports that Liverpool manager might not be able to strengthen his team adequately due to the planned development on their Stadium.
Billy Hogan allayed those fears in his recent interview with FCbusiness as he confirmed that funds will be made available for the Liverpool manager amidst the Stadium renovation plans.
Earlier this month, Liverpool posted pre-tax profits of £125m for the last financial year and it took into account the £75m signing of Dutch international centre back Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton and the £142m transfer of Philippe Coutinho to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona.
Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool spent the most money during last summer’s transfer window.
The Reds spent £173m on transfers last summer following the acquisition of Naby Keita and Fabinho from RB Leipzig and AS Monaco respectively.
Liverpool also signed Swiss international Xerdan Shaqiri from Stoke City while Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker joined the club from AS Roma.
