Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is thought to be waiting desperately waiting for the opportunity to join Spanish La Liga Champions Real Madrid in the summer after growing increasingly frustrated at Chelsea.
Nothing appears to be working as planned for the Italian tactician who won the English Premier League trophy for Chelsea at first ask, last campaign. He also led them to the English FA Cup final but lost to Arsenal.
The Italian has one year and half left on his current deal signed back in the summer of 2016. The Blues are some way off league leaders Manchester City in the English title race and are third placed on the Premier league behind rivals Manchester United, increasing the pressure on Antonio Conte and exposing the issues arising at the West London club. The former Juventus manager’s frustrations have been concerning the transfer window with the club’s inability to get their primary transfer targets.
At La liga side Real Madrid, French tactician Zinedine Zidane has been under severe pressure as well, with the weekend’s big loss to eternal rival FC Barcelona a home piling further pressure on him.
According to the Sun, the Champions League winners will be in the market for a new coach in the summer, and top Journalist Ian McGarry has said the Chelsea boss is right on top of their wishlist of favored coaches and the Italian is ready to take the job.
