Four English Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool have all benefitted from the new UEFA rule on substitution as they all head into the European cup finals.
The North London outfit and their West counterpart will lock horns later on May 29 in the Europa League finals in Azerbaijan while Liverpool will battle Tottenham in the Champion League on Saturday, June 1
However, the four teams have been told that they will now be allowed to make the fourth substitution in the finals should it stretch to the extra time.
The four teams have also been told that they are allowed to name 12 substitutions against the usual seven that is allowed to be listed.
This remains a major advantage to four teams as they will be able to have a more strengthened team should the two finals extend to the extra time.
However, the Premier League set a record of having all English finals in both the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League.
The Gunners team will, therefore, hope to land more additions in the summer transfer window to be able to compete for titles.
