English Championship club Leeds United want to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson when the transfer window reopens in the summer according to reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

Popular media outlet Goal claim that Leeds United are interested in a loan transfer for the young Welshman this summer.

Harry Wilson is on loan at fellow English Championship club Derby County from Liverpool at the moment.

His form for Derby County has attracted the attention of several clubs including former Champions League finalists Leeds United.

The 21-year-old has been in very good form for the Rams since joining them at the start of this campaign.

The Welsh international winger has scored 16 times for Derby County who are chasing a spot in the Premier League for next season.

Only a top-six spot would suffice for possible promotion into the Premier League and Derby County are just outside those places in the seventh position.

The first two places in the English Championship qualify for the Premier League automatically while the other four spots battle for one place via the playoffs.

Leeds United could be playing Premier League football next season with Marcelo Bielsa’s team currently occupying one of the top two spots at the moment.
