Finally, Chelsea Beat Man United To Amazing Star Signing

After winning the race for Celtic’s Billy Gilmour, it appears Chelsea have won yet another race to get the signature of another youngster this summer.

According to reports in the Netherlands, the Stamford Bridge club have signed Ajax youngster Daishawn Redan.

The 16-year-old is regarded as one of the most promising youngsters to come through the ranks at the Dutch club in recent times and it is known that a handful of big European clubs were interested in signing him.

It is understood that apart from Chelsea, other top clubs including Manchester United, Manchester City, and RB Leipzig were all keeping close tabs on the wonder kid. But Chelsea seems to have emerged victors to get his signature.

Voetbalzone are reporting that the highly-rated teenager has now put pen to paper with the blues following weeks of speculation of an imminent move to west London.

A few months back, Ajax made an announcement that the 16-year-old would leave the club at the end of the season.

Ajax youth coach Said Ouaali revealed that the club have mapped out a path for the teenager and there is depth discussions with him and his management.

“That there is no agreement at the last moment is extremely regrettable, obviously they have put something else on their minds.

‘We have made every effort to maintain a great talent as Daishawn for the club but at some point it stops” he concludes.
