Chelsea On Transfer Alert As Major Target Stall On New Contract

Chelsea has been put on alert following reports that Gianluigi Donnarumma is stalling on renewing a new contract with AC Milan.

The Italian youngster has been heavily linked with a move out of San Siro and regarded as one of the brightest talents in the world due to his solidity in goal for Milan.

There have been reported interest from a host of clubs in Europe with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United believed to be monitoring him closely.

Chelsea are said to be in search of a potential replacement for Thibaut Courtois who might leave the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season with suggestions he wants to return to the La Liga and Real Madrid being his likely destination, having held initial talks with Madrid president, Fiorentina Perez.

Reports in Italian outlet, Corriere dello Sport claims that Chelsea and Manchester United are now readying a move for the 17-year-old keeper as he stalls on extending his stay with AC Milan.

His Agent, Mino Raiola is understood to be behind the development and has a reputation of brokering biggest deals in football such as Paul Pogba’s world record move to Manchester United last summer.

Antonio Conte is an admirer of  Donnarumma and will move for him if Courtois moves to Real Madrid next summer transfer window.
