According to British media reports, Premier League champions Chelsea are ready set to offer Real Madrid target, Thibaut Courtois, a new contract in excess of £200,000-week when they resume contract negotiations with the Belgian later in the month.
New deal for Real target
The Evening Standard is claiming that the Blues will renew their bid to get the shot-stopper to pen a new deal at the club after the key matches against Barcelona and Leicester this month.

The same report suggest that Chelsea are ready to offer him a major wage rise to more than £200,000-weekly as they attempt to get the goalie to pen a new contract at the side.
Thibaut Courtois is presently under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2019 and it remains to be discovered whether he will sign a new contract with the reigning League champions.
Chelsea ‘hell bent’ to renew deal
As per the same report, the Blues are under pressure to finalise contract terms with the goalkeeper because La Liga giants Real Madrid are keeping a close tab on developments.

The Belgian was unable to prevent his side from slipping to a 2-1 defeat to rivals Manchester United in the English Premier League at Old Trafford last Sunday.
That loss left Chelsea down in the fifth position in the League table as they attempt to finish in the top four.
