According to reports in the British media, Premier League giants Manchester United are preparing a bid to land Chelsea superstar Willian this summer transfer window.
Man United set to replace Martial with Willian
ESPN, as cited by Metro, is claiming that Manchester United are considering making a move for the 29-year-old attacker as the doubts about Anthony Martial’s Manchester United long-term future continue.
The same article states that the Red Devils tried and failed to bring in the Brazil international last summer window.
And despite United boss, Jose Mourinho insisting that he is not planning to recruit more attacking players this transfer window, the question marks about the Frenchman’s future at the club could prompt United to make a move for him.
Martial linked with a move away
The same article says that Anthony Martial is being heavily linked with a potential move to Serie A champions Juventus from Old Trafford this summer.
The Reds Devils are likely to be linked with a couple of top players in the coming weeks as the Portuguese tactician seeks to build a squad capable of competing favourably with Man City for the English Premier League title next campaign.
Mourinho knows the Chelsea star pretty well, having worked with him during his second spell at Stamford Bridge.
