Liverpool overtake Arsenal in the race to sign Barcelona 21-year-old winger as they table £89 million
New report have made it known that Liverpool have joined the race to sign Barcelona winger, Ousmane Dembele and have made it tougher for Arsenal.
According to report, the Reds have tabled an offer of £89 million for the 21-year-old winger which is one step ahead of Arsenal FC.
The Gunners had earlier shown interest in the youngster as they hope to catch in on his limited playing chances at Arsenal.
Ousmane Dembele had been a star player in the German Bundesliga but have suffered series of injuries that have made him lost form and gotten limited playing chances at Camp Nou.
And the coming season seems not be different especially with Barcelona signing a new winger, Malcom, who play in a similar position as the youngster.
Barcelona are willing to let go of the player after his unsuccessful spell with them last season and they may be moved to accept an offer from any team that tables the highest amount.
Liverpool want to add a winger to the team and Ousmane Dembele may just be the right player they need and a likely replacement for Coutinho, who left for Barcelona in January.
