Arsenal set to replace Petr Cech with Dinamo Zagreb young goalkeeper

According to reports, North London giant Arsenal are interested in Dinamo Zagreb young goalkeeper Adrian Semper.

Semper, 19, is currently on a season-long loan at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb and is closely monitored by top teams around Europe. As per Tribal Football, German side RB Leipzig, and Premier League trio of Watford, Chelsea, and Arsenal are all closely monitoring the goalkeeper.

German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have recently joined the race, and hope to keep him and then send him out on loan to Austrian side, RB Salzburg. English side Watford are thought to be interested, while the Gunners and the Blues names have also been thrown in.

The Gunners don’t have a good young keeper at the Noth London side, but they have quite a number. Looking at Arsenal’s youth level, Ryan Huddart, Matt Macey, Hugo Keto and Deyan Iliev all vie for a spot, while the younger Joao Virginia and Alex Crean are also in the running.

Adrian Semper is an Academy product of Dinamo Zagreb, and is presently gaining first-team football experience with Croatian side NK Lokomotiva. He’s played 12 matches in the Croatian first division League.

The youngster was loaned at NK Lokomotiva last campaign as well when he featured 16 times. He recently played his first match for the Croatia u21s, having played regularly at u19 level.
