The Blues forward has been linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge following reports that he is frustrated at the harsh officiating by referees in the Premier League. Earlier this week, there were pictures of Diego Costa met with four businessmen alongside Jorge Mendes at a London restaurant with indications that a potential deal to China was discussed.
During the last January window, it emerged that Chinese billionaire Shui Yuhui met with the Spaniard’s agent to thrash a potential deal and is now ready to offer him €30 million. The Chinese billionaire also confirmed that the club have retained their interest in Diego Costa
Although, there are indications that both parties will still need to finalize some procedures at the end of the season after Costa signed a pre-contract with the Chinese club.
It is understood that Blues are also preparing for life without Costa and have identified several targets to replace him next season.
