Arsenal close to signing South American as Ramsey replacement

Emerging reports claim that the North London outfit Arsenal are close to landing a deal for River Plate midfielder Exequiel Palacio ahead of the summer transfer window.

Exequiel Palacio has been tipped to replace Wales international Aaron Ramsey at the Emirates Stadium for the coming season.

Aaron Ramsey had already agreed on a deal to join the Spanish La Liga outfit for four-years as a free player after he refused to pen a new deal with the North London outfit.

However, Exequiel Palacio is one of the most respected and highly rated Argentina young lads as a result of his impressive display for his South American outfit.

The North London outfit are obviously not alone in the rave for the star midfielder as other top European sides are seeking for him. Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid is keen to land Palacios for £20m last summer
before he picked up an injury.

Now that he has returned from injury, he is tipped to make a good signing for the Gunners team as manager Unai Emery is reported to be a big fan of the star player.

Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey has played his last Arsenal game as a result of the injury he sustained and will not play the Europa League finals.
