It now official that the North London outfit Arsenal have participated in the summer transfer window at the receiving end as they have parted ways with Spanish defender Julio Pleguezuelo.
Julio Pleguezuelo has officially agreed on a two-year deal with German Bundesliga outfit FC Twente which begins in the coming season.
The Spanish defender has been able to secure the needed experience and quality to play first-team football but that did get to happen as it was not sure he would be granted such an opportunity in the manager Unai Emery team.
It has been reported that Julio Pleguezuelo played in a number of clubs in Spain, including Atletico Baleares, Espanyol, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona before moving to Arsenal in 2013.
However, the 22-year-old could not beat the competition to play in the first team and was made to leave the club for the 2016/17 season on loan at Mallorca and the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Gimnastic.
Julio Pleguezuelo finally saw the first-team football for the Arsenal team in the League Cup last season under former manager Arsene Wenger and the end of his stay at the North London club is now over with the already confirmed FC Twente deal.
