Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is desperate to complete a transfer away from the North London club, with the midfielder hoping that City rivals West Ham offer him the opportunity to revive his career by signing him once contract at Arsenal expires, according to a report in the Daily Star.
As per Daily Star, the England star Wilshere is all but determined to run down his existing contract at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners making no attempt to keep him beyond this season.
The 25-year-old, who played his first game for Arsenal back in 2008, spent the last term on loan at AFC Bournemouth and was expected to leave the North London club during the last summer transfer window, according to Daily Star; however, West Ham were put off by Arsenal’s £20million valuation.
The England international midfielder played his first Arsenal match of the campaign last Thursday after the midfield maestro was substituted in the 68th minute by manager Arsene Wenger during his team’s UEFA Europa League game against German Bundesliga club FC Koln.
Jack Wilshere was then left out for his team’s goalless draw with Chelsea at the weekend, with his absence showing that his services are no longer required at Arsenal.
