West London giant Chelsea are keen on a potential swap deal with Premier League giant Manchester United that would see winger Willian and attacker Anthony Martial head in opposite directions, as per reports in England.
Chelsea want Martial
The Daily Star is claiming that Chelsea are one of the sides keen on the out-of-favour Manchester United attacker ahead of the summer window.
Anthony Martial has heavily struggled to secure a regular playing shirt in Jose Mourinho’s squad since the former Chelsea manager replaced Dutchman Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford in May 2016.
On the other hand, the Red Devils, have been strongly linked with a possible swoop for Brazil international winger Willian since Jose Mourinho’s appointment considering the duo’s prior working relationship at Chelsea.
Chelsea want swap move
The same report says that the Blues would be willing to do a swap deal that would see the France international forward complete a transfer to the Bridge and the Brazilian reunite with Jose Mourinho.
The South American has been in and out of the squad since Italian tactician Antonio Conte’s appointment at the club two summer windows ago.
Willian has won two English Premier League titles and the Carabao Cup with Chelsea.
