Arsenal chief, Raul Sanllehi speaks on January market

Arsenal chief Raul Sanllehi has spoken on the plans of the club for the coming winter transfer market which will be opened in January next year.

He hinted the possibility of having some engagements in the window but stressed that it would be subjected to the decision of a whole lot of professionals who will only act in accordance with the club’s objectives.

According to him, the team of professionals are currently engaging in a lot of analysis to know what is needed of the team and the available in the market before proceeding.

Meanwhile, Sanllehi noted that he is not a believer of the winter window because it is only meant for emergencies and correcting the wrongs of the summer window.

He, therefore, affirmed that the decision is not his to make as the club will make the final decision.

However, suggestions are that manager Unai Emery intends to be very active in the market with the hope of bringing in a replacement for contract rebel Aaron Ramsey before he leaves at the end of the season.

Ramsey has refused to commit his future to the North London side which makes him free to leave with speculations that the Spanish manager is happy with the decision in order to have him secure more additions to his side.
