AC Milan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko will return to Premier League club Chelsea at the end of his loan spell with the seven-time European champions.
His imminent return to Chelsea was confirmed by his agent and brother Abdoulaye Bakayoko in a chat with popular French transfer news portal L’Equipe.
Tiemoue Bakayoko joined AC Milan on loan from Chelsea during last summer’s transfer window.
He signed for the Rossoneri on a season-long loan deal with the option of a permanent transfer for €35m.

Earlier reports had said that AC Milan will pursue a permanent move for him though they were only willing to pay a little less than the stipulated €35m in his contract until the new development from the player’s agent.
Bakayoko made 31 appearances for AC Milan in all competitions during the just concluded campaign as the Rossoneri missed out on winning any trophy.
He had a slow start to his AC Milan career only for things to pick up for him just before the middle third of the season.
The French international didn’t have the best of ends to his career at the club after the bust-up with then manager Gennaro Gattuso towards the end of the season.
AC Milan legend Gattuso left his post as the club manager last month.
