Massive Boost For Arsenal As Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang Hands In Transfer Request

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang has handed in a transfer request according to reports.

The 28-year-old has been closely monitored by a number of clubs in Europe due to his impressive goal tally with the Bundesliga side and even ended the season as the league’s highest goalscorer with 39 goals.

Aubamenyang is believed to be keen on leaving Dortmund this summer and is open to the idea of joining a foreign club.

Reports in The Times have it that the Gabonese has handed in a transfer request at the Bundesliga club and will force a move after spending four years at the club.

Arsenal has been linked with a move for Auba in the past, with confirmed reports that the Gunners submitted a massive bid for the striker which was turned down by Dortmund.

Manchester United and Manchester City have also been credited with interests in the striker, as both sides remain keen on bettering their previous records next season.

However, there are speculations that Auba might also fancy a move to the Far East after it emerged that Chinese Super League club, Tianjian Quanjian are also trying to lure him with a big-money move that will see his wages sky-rocket.

What remains yet to be known is whether Arsene Wenger will move again for Aubamenyang after losing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette to Atletico Madrid.
