Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru has revealed that he is ‘ready’ to play in the Premier League amid keen interest from Arsenal.
The 19-year-old has been a key figure for his Belgian side, topping the goalscorers chart with 22 goals despite been his debut season in Belgium.
The forward has been tipped to leave Eupen this summer, with reports of interest from several clubs in Europe but will fancy a move to the Premier League, having revealed earlier that Thierry Henry is his football idol.
Recent reports have linked Onyekuru with a move to the Gunners this season, and it appears the youngster wants the move.
‘Everything is possible. Anderlecht, Club Brugge, England … I still haven’t decided,’ he said.
‘I have had fun in Belgium, but I have always dreamed of the Premier League.’
When asked about the possibility of moving to England, Onyekuru responded: ‘Believe is not the right word. I know I’m ready – I’m sure of that.
‘I don’t want to decide too quickly. Because it’s a decision for life, which is very important for my family and myself.’
Arsenal will play in the Europa League next season and have started moves to bring in players due provide cover for their key players.
