Why this Arsenal target is now available

There are suggestions that Arsenal target and Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman is now available for a move as he is yet to be offered a new contract by Newcastle.

It is claimed that Newcastle are yet to make any new offer for the star player amidst the number of interests that are lined up for him with his contract at St James Park running out at the end of the season.

The North London outfit are not alone in the demand for the star goalkeeper as they are joined by Fulham, Celtic, and Everton who are all keen to land him.

It is claimed that he is being offered a one-year contract extension which he is refusing to accept and there is no doubt that they are set to part ways.

However, the North London outfit Arsenal are looking forward to having a replacement for the legendary goalkeeper, Petr Cech who is retiring at the end of the season.

The Gunners have got Bernd Leno to boast of but there is need to land an option ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

Arsenal have made it clear through their manager Unai Emery that they will be seeking for more additions to the team.
