Arsenal are in secret talks to secure the signature of French Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco star midfielder Youri Tielemans before the end of this winter transfer window, according to a Sky Sports report.
The North London outfit have got a very quiet winter transfer but there are signs that it could end on a very loud note as the potential signature of Youri Tielemans will mean a double addition to the team after it has been confirmed that Barcelona’s Denis Suarez would be joining the Emirates Stadium as well.
Youri Tielemans is desperate to quit the Ligue 1 outfit owing to the poor outing of the club so far this season as they are now facing the threat of being relegated this season.
He is reported to have pulled out of the squad for Monaco’s game on Tuesday and will travel to England to complete his dream move.
However, the Gunners are reportedly in secret negotiation with the star player knowing that other Premier League sides like Man United, Leicester City and Tottenham are also in the race for his signature.
The competition for the fourth position has become a three-man race which is the reason why the North London outfit are desperate to strengthen so as to be able to win the race.
