Wenger breaks silence on Arsenal, Ramsey, says he is happy for this reason

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is speaking on the happenings at the club for about the first time since leaving at the end of last season.

The French manager had a 22 years reign as the manager at the North London side before he was made to quit against his wish.

Since his departure, the manager has yet to secure another job and surprisingly refused to comment on the happenings at the club.

However, he has now broken his silence by making a claim on the contract issues involving Aaron Ramsey.

Wenger admits the Wales international now has the knife in his hands and in the best position to make any cut but he believes an agreement could still be reached.

According to Arsenal former boss, situations like that happened in the past but it was resolved by his efforts.

He made it clear he is happy not being at the club at this moment as it will no longer be his responsibility.

Ramsey is one of the layers who grew to limelight with the opportunity handed him by Wenger who is a believer of the youth system.

Meanwhile, the Wales midfielder has made it clear he will not be leaving the Emirates Stadium in the January window making it clear that he will leave the club as a free player unless there is a change of heart to sign a new deal.
