Merseyside club Everton are planning a transfer for Chelsea player Michy Batshuayi as they try to solve the striker problem upsetting the team this season.
The Toffees have not been able to get a goalscorer to consistently provide the threat upfront since the exit of Romelu Lukaku who left the club for Manchester United in 2017 in a deal reported to be around £75m.
Everton have Turkish international striker Cenk Tosun in their ranks but the former Besiktas player has not been able to solve the aforementioned problem since his transfer in January 2018.
The Toffees want to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi with the hope that the Belgian would be the solution to their striker problem.
Batshuayi was farmed out on loan to Spanish side Valencia at the start of the season but he has failed to make a considerable impact at the club amidst talks that Los Che want to terminate the season-long loan at the halfway stage.
The former Marseille player has scored just three goals in 21 appearances for Valencia in all competitions.
Other clubs like AS Monaco and AS Roma are also willing to take him on loan for the rest of the season once his loan deal has been terminated at Valencia.
