United told why Matthijs de Ligt is not best for the team

The English Premier League outfit Man United are desperate to land new players in the coming summer transfer window owing to the poor defence they suffered in the latter part of the season.

The Red Devils were able to win just two of their last 11 games across all competition which remains a big blow to United, one of the biggest in the English League.

It has already been established that the defence will be a major focus for Man United in the summer window and much attention has been paid to Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils will have to face big competition from Liverpool and Barcelona for the signature of the star defender which will be a major fight for manager Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, the former Real Madrid forward has been advised not to move in for the star player as it could just be a waste of time and resources.

The fact that United might not win as they have been discredited for no Champions League football is enough while they might not have resources to challenge other top sides.

However, Ole Gummar Solskjaer has been advised to move in for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire and Norwich man Ben Godfrey as they would be a better deal and with a leader cost to bear.
