Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has warned Merseyside club Liverpool that he and his players are now looking forward to their clash with Jurgen Klopp’s men at Old Trafford in March.
Victorious outing last weekend
Jose Mourinho was in the technical area when his Manchester United team sealed a 2-1 victory over Premier League champions Chelsea at the weekend to climb back above the Reds on the log table and into the second spot.
The Red Devils are aiming to end as high as possible on the English Premier League log this term after they finished in the sixth position in Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge last season.
United will host high-flying Liverpool at Old Trafford on March 10 as they try and seal the second place on the log.
An eye on Liverpool clash
And Jose Mourinho has openly said that his side already have an eye on that crucial encounter.
First up for the Red Devils, however, is their away clash at Selhurst Park to lock horns with Crystal Palace on Monday as they try to improve their English Premier League shape in the closing stages of the campaign.
Mourinho’s team won both the UEFA Europa League and Carabao Cup in the Portugues’ first season in charge.
