Deal Close: Rangers Set To Sign Liverpool Winger On Loan
Scottish Premiership giants Rangers are closing in on a loan move for Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo according to the Daily Record.
It was revealed that the Nigerian-born English winger will join the Scottish club on a season-long loan deal this summer.
Sheyi Ojo spent this season on loan at French Ligue 1 club Stade Reims.
The young Liverpool winger helped Reims to a top-eight finish at the end of the 2018/19 French league season which ended on Friday with an impressive 3-1 win over champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) at home.
Sheyi Ojo was an unused substitute during the PSG game.
Reims have exceeded expectations in their first season back in the top flight of French football.
Sheyi Ojo is expected to sign a new five-year contract at Liverpool before joining Rangers on loan for the new season.
He will team up with Reds legend Steven Gerrard at Rangers ahead of the new season.
