United are a better team than Liverpool, club legend reveals why

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has suggested that Manchester United have a better squad than his former side, not minding the position of both teams on the log.

The Reds are currently first in the league table while the Red Devils are in fifth position but that is not an issue to Jamie Carragher gave his reasons for his stand.

According to him, the Red Devils have players that help them have a better standing in terms of depth than the Premier League leaders.

In his argument, Jamie Carragher stated that having players like Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial sit on the bench is a good testimony of the strength of the Man United team.

Jamie Carragher insists that after Man City, the Old Trafford team are the best in terms of team depth.

However, he admitted that the Red Devils are not the best defensively as he made it clear that it is the weakest point in the team.

It would be recalled that United struggles at the start of the season until the sack of their former manager Jose Mourinho which led to the coming of former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as an interim manager. Under his reign, United have not seen any defeat.
