He was the subject of more speculation in the winter transfer window, but when Belgian was questioned about his Roma future, he claimed he may never leave the Serie A side.
The midfield maestro was reportedly offered the opportunity of a big-money transfer to the Chinese Super League a month ago, but those suggestions were denied by Beijing Guoan who insisted publicly they were never interested in the AS Roma star.
