Like Sir Alex like Pochettino
Sir Alex made the premiership goodbye since 2013 and Manchester United has been reeling ever since, they have struggled to positions of 7th under Moyes, 4th and 5th under Louis Van Gaal and are presently in 6th under Jose Mourinho, but on Saturday the 19th of November a scenario very reminiscent of United under Ferguson unfolded before our eyes at White Hart Lane as Tottenham came back from a 2-1 deficit with over 75 minutes gone to win the game 3-2 in extra time to end their 4 match run without a win.
Daniel Levy has struck gold, Pochettino has been stellar since he left Southampton for White Hart Lane, while it might have been seen as underwhelming to finish below Arsenal last season, Tottenham has been translated to a serious title contender as they have maintained their unbeaten run in the premier league this season.
An inspiring performance by Harry Kane who just returned from a brief injury made sure they remained in the top 4 and also as league contenders heading into their champions league clash with Monaco.
The hunger, desire and never say die attitude of the team was very reminiscent of the Scottish legends time as a player as they rallied on to wins in the later ends of matches .
While there is still a long way to go it is becoming obvious that Tottenham has found a gem in Mr Pochettino.
