Liverpool set to complete move for 25-year-old attacker in summer

According to reports emanating from Spain, Merseyside giants Liverpool could be ready to make an approach to try to land Isco from La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer transfer window.

Isco wanted by Liverpool

Spanish publication Diario Gol, as cited by TEAMtalk, is claiming that Liverpool could be ready to take advantage of the player’s alleged falling out with Portuguese international forward Cristiano Ronaldo and look to lure him to Anfield Stadium this summer.

The same article says that the Ballon d’Or winner has held discussions with Real Madrid Supremo Florentino Perez recently and has urged the La Liga side to offload Isco.

Coutinho replacement

The report also claims that Anfield could be a destination for the attacking midfielder as they search for a long-term replacement for Brazil international Philippe Coutinho on Merseyside.

The Reds are likely to be in the market for reinforcements this summer after offloading the Brazil playmaker Coutinho leave for La Liga side FC Barcelona last month.

Liverpool FC did spend huge on signing defender Virgil van Dijk from Premier League side Southampton in the winter window, but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will certainly be looking to further strengthen his team ahead of next term.

The Merseyside club return to English Premier League duty on Saturday when they play host to West Ham in the League at Anfield Stadium.
