Lyon star player and France international Nabil Fekir has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in recent times, and there are new reports that suggest the Anfield club will be making an official announcement any moment from now about the success of securing his signature.
The Merseysiders are reportedly confident of completing a deal for him before the day runs out, after his side gave the green light to get it all sealed before the World Cup starts.
Initially, the club’s top chief Mr Jean-Michel Aulas seemed to have ruled out Jurgen Klopp’s chances of getting the talented player before the start of the World Cup, and the Anfield club were reportedly worried about Lyon increasing his fees after the tournament.
However, it was made known that the French club have agreed to allow him leave France this summer to join Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, and his heart is set to join the Merseyside club.
The Champions League finalists are now hoping to polish the remaining details, and are confident of finalising the deal in the next 24 hours.
The Daily Mirror also added that the French star will be permitted to travel to Liverpool on Friday for his medical.
Liverpool finalised a deal for Fabinho few days back, and we should expect a second announcement anytime soon.
