Liverpool Hijack Chelsea’s Target,Ready To Splash Big On This Top Class Midfielder

Liverpool have sent scouts to monitor Franck Kessie at the African Cup of Nations over a possible move, according to reports in Italy.

Reliable reports have it that the Atalanta midfielder was reported to be in talks with Chelsea over a move to the club in January or summer due to the Nations Cup after seeing a £22 million bid rejected.

Kessie has been a key figure for the Serie A side, and has attracted the attentions of several big clubs in Europe.

The Reds are reportedly set to pay a fee around £35 million for the Ivorian which might also force the hands of Chelsea who have cooled down their interest in the midfielder, preparing to move for him in the next summer transfer window.

Kessie is currently on Nations Cup duties with Ivory Coast in Gabon, where he is expected to a pivotal key for the tournament.
