Another Chelsea Star Linked To Leave Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are yet to make a major signing this summer, but some of their stars are already leaving Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.

There are reports that Crystal Palace are interested in signing another Chelsea star Kurt Zouma on loan in this summer transfer window.

Crystal Palace needs a replacement for Mamadou Sakho, with the defender making a return back to Anfield after spending the second half of last season on loan with the Eagles.

The 22-year-old could be another good option in that area for Crystal Palace, but it is understood that he’s interested in remaining and fighting for his place at Stamford Bridge. So, a deal seems unlikely.

The Daily Mirror reported that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte also rates Zouma highly and could be keen to have him around as a squad player next term.

Chelsea legend John Terry is ready to leave Stamford Bridge for Aston Villa on a free transfer, and the west London club have struggled to land any of their defensive targets this summer.

The premier league champions have been linked with top defenders like Leonardo Bonucci, Virgil van Dijk, and Kostas Manolas this summer. However, it remains to be seen.

Kurt could then end up to be an important backup in Antonio Conte’s team, having shown lots of potential before his serious injury in the 2015/16 season.
