Man United Issued Fresh Conditions To Sign Deadly Forward

Ivan Perisic

Inter Milan have reportedly told Manchester United to complete a deal for Ivan Perisic on or before July 1, warning that he will not for sale afterwards.

The 28-year-old has a subject of transfer interest from United in a couple of months, with reports that Jose Mourinho is keen on adding the winger to his ranks this summer and has even met with the player’s representatives.

However, the Red Devils have stalled in making a deal materialise due to the reluctance of Inter to sell their star performer and have held out for an astronomical fee for the winger.

It is understood that Manchester United are playing the waiting game since they are aware that Inter Milan have to offload one of their key players due to Europe Financial Fair Play regulations.

The Italian giants could risk a sanction by UEFA, and United wants them to lower their £55million asking price for the winger.

Reports in the Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Manchester United could be risking losing one of their main targets after it emerged that Inter Milan will not sell the winger after July 1.

It is believed that United are looking at the possibility of signing Fiorentina winger, Federico Bernardeschi instead.
