Andrea Belotti

Manchester United have submitted a £62million bid for Torino forward, Andrea Belotti, according to reports.

The 23-year-old has been one of the names talked about since the start of the summer, with reports that he will leave the club following his impressive goalscoring displays in the Italian Serie A last season.

A host of clubs in the Premier League have been credited with an interest in Belotti, with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all believed to be closely monitoring his transfer situation.

Reports in reliable Italian outlet Tuttosport claim that Manchester United have offered £62million for the striker which was promptly rejected by Torino who are holding out for £88million release clause to met.

The report also have it that former Juventus head of scouting, Javier Ribalta who recently joined United lead the approach but could not convince Torino to sell their star.

Arsenal were believed to have had a £56million offer for Belotti, rejected during the January transfer window and have retained their interest in signing the striker this summer, though they are presently looking elsewhere.

Belotti has been tipped to become the next big striker from Italy, following his performances that earned him 26 goals in 35 appearances in the Serie A.
