Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will decide on whether to loan Timothy Fosu-Mensah after UEFA Super Cup final against Real Madrid, according to reports.
The United boss is understood to be concerned about his defence lineup ahead of next season and will vet every position before the start of a new campaign.
Fosu-Mensah who broke into the first team at Old Trafford under former boss Louis Van Gaal, has shown glimpses he is ready to stake claim on a spot in the senior team but has remained in the shadows of Antonio Valencia who was in a tremendous form for the Red Devils at the right-back position last season.
The 19-year-old has been a subject of loan interest from a couple of clubs in the Premier League following his impressive feats with United during preseason this summer, with reports in Daily Mail that Watford are keen on adding the youngster to their ranks.
The report also claims that Jose Mourinho will wait until the end of the transfer window before taking a decision whether to loan the full-back who is also capable of playing at defensive midfielder as well as in the central defence.
United are preparing to face Real Madrid in Skopje next Tuesday in a contested match and it is unlikely that Fosu-Mensah will start the game.
