Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson has been in the news consistently in recent times due to his links with Liverpool, but it appears the talented shot-stopper won’t move to Anfield this summer.
According to reports, the Merseysiders are set to end their interest in the goalkeeper and may focus elsewhere in their search of a new goalkeeper this summer.
Allison was very much impressive at Roma last season and has caught the attention of various top European clubs with his superb performances.
He has been particularly linked with Liverpool in recent times, and it was even made known by Roberto Firmino that the goalie asked him about the Anfield club during a chat.
Liverpool are in the market for a new shot-stopper in their attempt to transform their side to a European powerhouse ahead of the 2018/19 season. After Karius gifted Real Madrid two goals in the Champions League final at Kiev, it becomes glaring they must replace the German.
However, they are unwilling to pay the £79 Million Roma are demanding for Alisson’s signature and are expected to look at other places.
They have been linked with Burnley’s Nick Pope recently, but we fold our arms awaiting what the next step will be.
