Liverpool Set To Get Andre Gomes For FREE

Jurgen Klopp needs to take advantage of the upcoming January transfer window to bring more quality players to Anfield, but he is also expected to hold on to his key stars.

According to news coming from Spain, Phil remains Barcelona’s No. 1 transfer target for the upcoming winter transfer window, and Liverpool are demanding a fee of €150 million for the player.

It was also added that Barca are not ready to pay that much for the samba star, and they are ready to send a player across to Anfield to get the price reduced. And the player that has been offered to Klopp is Andre Gomes.

The Portuguese international moved to Camp Nou after helping his country win the European Championships last year.

The 24-year-old is a versatile player who can play anywhere in the midfield and also in the attack if needed.

Last season, he was only able to start 17 games in the Spanish top flight due to Enrique’s preference of the trio of Rakitic, Iniesta and Busquets in the midfield.

Things are still the same for Gomez this season under new manager Valverde as he has started just 4 games in his 11 appearances for the Catalan giants this term so far.

He has a release clause of €100 million in his current deal at Barcelona, and will obviously add value to Klopp’s team.
