Manchester United Manager Revealed Player Who Can Be One Of Manchester United’s Best.
Manchester United Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho is of the opinion that Luke Shaw has the potential to become one of the Old Trafford club’s best assets.
Even though, this season so far, the Portuguese boss has played others like Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind at the left-back position and although they’ve both played well, it still remains that neither of the duo have been able to fill the Englishman’s shoes.
Luke Shaw had a promising start to the 2015/16 campaign but unfortunately suffered a double leg fracture in September. The injury has resulted in a difficult start under Jose Mourinho.
And Mourinho speaking about the situation, admitted that Luke Shaw was one to watch for the future.
“In practical terms, we have lots of left-backs,”
“The reality is that Blind, Shaw, Rojo and [Matteo] Darmian can all play left back – but they are different players.”
“I think that, in a couple of years, one of them should become the best of all – because he has all the attributes to be the best – and that’s Luke Shaw.
“Because of his age, his physicality, his intensity, his aggressiveness and his ability going forward – he can be the best. But to be the best you need to work – you need to work hard and that’s what he’s trying to do.” he said.
Shaw since signing for Manchester United in June 2014, has already gone on to make 42 appearances in all competitions for his Old Trafford club. His nice performances have caught the attention of many, and he is also been backed by legend Denis Irwin.
Everyone indeed is aware of his talents. However, under Mourinho, it is just about working hard and hitting the ground running.
