Manchester United Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho is looking to lift his second major trophy in his first campaign at the Old Trafford club.

He successfully led the club to their first ever Europa League semifinal, and are set to play Celta Vigo in Spain on Thursday.

And already, his attention seem to be on the trophy….

The former Chelsea coach revealed that should his side win the trophy eventually, his injured striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will join the club’s captain Wayne Rooney in lifting the silverware.

Ibrahimovic was injured in the quarter-final game against Anderlecht and is already ruled out for the rest of the season.

When Chelsea won the Champions League back then in 2012, John was initially part of the spectators wearing a suit and a tie, but changed into his full kit to lift the trophy when they were confirmed winners.

And It appears Jose wants a replica to occur in the Europa League too.

Speaking about the Swede legend before the clash against Celta Vigo, the former Real Madrid boss hopes the huge striker can go with Rooney and get the cup.

However, to make the dream come true at all, the Old Trafford club will first need to emerge victors over La Liga side Celta Vigo. They play the first leg in Spain on Thursday.

Manchester United are still not certain of finishing among the top four this season on the premier league table, but can play Champions League football next season should they win the Europa League this term.
