Manchester United fans are delighted with the latest news circulating in the media about Alexis Sanchez coming over to Old Trafford before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.

And the new report about him is that manager Jose Mourinho has decided on the position to utilise him once he arrives Old Trafford.

According to the Mirror, the Portuguese tactician hopes to play the Chilean star on the right of a front three.

Last summer, the former Barcelona man was heavily linked with a reunion with his former manager Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.

But it is understood that apart from the opportunity to earn more money, Alexis also chose to move to Manchester United due to the greater chance of getting more playing time at Old Trafford.

However, Jose is planning to use him in a different position to the one he is familiar with at the Emirates Stadium.

The South American player plays on the left of a front three at Arsenal, but Anthony Martial has been impressive playing in that position under Jose Mourinho.

So, while the Frenchman will retain his position, Alexis will partner with him on the right to support central forward Romelu Lukaku.
