Ian Wright speaks on Ramsey leaving Arsenal

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has spoken on the anticipated exit of Wales international Aaron Ramsey from the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

It is all confirmed that the former Cardiff star will no longer be an Arsenal player after failing to agree on a new deal with the club over a new weekly wage.

A number of clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all reported to be seeking for his signature but nothing has been made public on where his future lies.

However, Arsenal legend expressed satisfaction with the development that the Wales international will be leaving the club at the end of the season, adding that there are no other right times like now.

He is of the opinion that Ramsey has stayed well enough at the Emirates Stadium and should go face other challenges elsewhere.

Wright hailed Ramsey as a top player who will not lack suitors from top European clubs as he cited that the calibre of German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich will come knocking for him.

Therefore the Gunner player stated that the North London side must begin good preparation for life after Ramsey, adding that the manager should be given adequate fund to be able to secure good players in the during the transfer window.
