Close Deal: Liverpool, Man Utd miss out on signing Flamengo star to AC Milan

A new report from Italy as translated by top sport media outlet, Sky Sport have made it known that Seria A club, AC Milan have finally reached an agreement with Flamengo for Lucas Paqueta.

AC Milan have beaten three English football clubs; Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City to the race to secure the deal for Flamengo and Brazil star, Lucas Paqueta.

According to the terms of the contract, AC Milan handed over to Flamingo the sum of £35 million for the player.

Also, Lucas Paqueta is expected to move to San Siro in the January transfer window and hopefully, he will be there for the next five years.

Liverpool, alongside Man Utd and Man City, will have to look elsewhere for another player to sign in January transfer window.

It is believed that Lucas Paqueta chose the Italian Seria A over the English Premier League owing to the ‘Cristiano Ronaldo effect.’

Ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left the Spanish La Liga for the Italian Seria A, the focus of the football fans have also shifted with the star player.

This has also affected the decisions of many players, who now prefer the Italian Seria A over every other league in Europe.
